The person on the other end of the phone.
I am Diana Haley. I founded Black Diamond Taxes & Financial Services to put a patient, plain-spoken human back in front of every credit conversation. No call centers, no jargon, no judgement.

Fort Wayne raised, family driven.
I grew up watching family members get pushed around by paperwork they did not understand. Hospital bills that were never theirs. Credit card statements that doubled overnight. Lenders who used confusion as a sales tool. It made me angry, and then it made me curious.
I spent fifteen years in tax preparation and personal finance before I built BDTF. Every tax season I noticed the same pattern. People did not need more software, they needed a person who would slow down and read the report with them. So I built that practice.
My job is to translate, advocate, and walk beside you. That is it.
Today I work with families across Fort Wayne, Auburn, New Haven, and the rest of Allen County. Most of my clients come to me by word of mouth, which is the only metric I really trust.
We do not promise fake results. We review, educate, challenge inaccurate information, and help you rebuild with a real plan.
How we got here.
1978
Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Grew up in a family of small business owners, hairdressers, and bookkeepers.
2004
Earned my first tax preparation credential. Started working with friends and family at kitchen tables every spring.
2012
Opened the original Black Diamond Taxes storefront. Two desks, one printer, and a coffee pot that never went off.
2019
Added personal credit coaching as a service after watching clients leave their refunds on the table because of bad credit.
2026
Launched the credit monitoring practice under creditbuilder4u.com. Built around a 90-day guarantee and one promise: a real person every time.
What we will not compromise on.
Plain English
No jargon, no scare tactics. If a child cannot understand it, we will rewrite it until they can.
Real people
You get a human on the call, on the email, on the text. Always. No automated voice trees.
Honest pacing
Credit work is slow work. We tell you what is realistic, not what sounds good in an ad.
Money-back promise
If you do not see meaningful movement in 90 days, you get your monitoring fee back. Simple.
This town is the reason this business exists.
I volunteer at the Allen County Public Library financial literacy series every spring. My kids went through Fort Wayne Community Schools. My mother still calls me when she gets a confusing letter in the mail. This work is not abstract for me. It is home.
